Composantes Lab-Co Inc. was founded in 1986. The company marketed the installation of wood staircases and kitchen cabinets.
Wanting to diversify their activities, the shareholders purchased a cabinet making company in December 1992. The company would thereafter be able to produce their own hardwood staircase components.
Following the evolution of the market and wanting to specialize in the fabrication and process, the company decided to stop their installation services in November 1998. This turnover doubled their sales power, therefore the number of employees increased from 10 to 25.
In January 2009, the shareholders Daniel Couture and Alain Labrecque decided to build a factory that allows them to continue the evolution of their company and give the team a better capacity and faster turnaround times.
Composantes Lab-Co specializes in the fabrication of staircases, furniture and architectural wood components. The success of this company lays in the capacity of quality manufacturing of the products found in different markets associated to traditional staircase components.
